Rhythm Therapy believes in the power of the community. The language of rhythm, movement and improvisation crosses borders, bridges gaps and thrives on diversity.

 We believe that the reinforcement of local/community connections reveal significant opportunities for people to create a fertile social-educational ground for transformation and empowerment. Our workshops bring joy and kinship and are therefore able to bridge gaps between participants and allow them to see their similarities and enjoy their differences.

The workshops are suitable for all people as they emphasize freedom and draw out the positive in every person. The encounters cultivate essential interpersonal communication, widen one’s attention span and develop learning skills through repetition and imitation. The Rhythm Therapy experience sees a significant improvement in one’s motoric skills, movement quality, language and communication impairments, thus contributing to one’s confidence and self-realization.

The workshops are suitable for a diverse range of audiences with standard or special needs. Different emphasis is highlighted each time, considering the groups’ capabilities and circumstance.

The community work is divided into four sections:

At risk populations -organizations that support disadvantaged youth, minorities and low socioeconomic populations.

Special needs groups -centers that support special needs groups, both for the employees and for the groups.

 Education systems – teaching  workshops for children, youth and professional higher education.

 Community organisations – workshops at community centres.
